Job Description

£13.95 an hour – Immediate start – Laboratory Technician – Must have experience

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a background in laboratory work? We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician.

This role involves quality testing of sand and other raw materials from extraction to final inspection to ensure industry standards are met.

Main Duties:

– Conduct tests on materials such as sand, gravel, and fibres using drying, washing, and sterilising methods.
– Perform visual and physical inspections of stockpiles.
– Carry out brick strength testing.
– Ensure all samples comply with safety and quality standards.
– Record accurate data and maintain spreadsheets.
– Collaborate with the Technical Manager for daily reporting.

Hourly Rate: Your hourly rate for this role would by £13.95 with 28 days of paid holiday pro rota.Please not we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Experience & Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

– Previous experience in a similar laboratory-based role (required).

– Personal transportation (essential due to site location).
