Nutreco is a global leader in Animal Nutrition and Aquaculture, employing more than 11,000 people in 35 countries. Trouw Nutrition GB is a Nutreco company in the UK, manufacturing a wide range of animal nutrition products with a turnover of approximately £100 million.

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician responsible for carrying out analysis using wet chemistry techniques, NIR analysis, and NIR scanning.

You will prepare and analyse samples for vitamins (HPLC), mineral analysis (ICP), enzymes, and conduct NIR analysis of raw materials, feeds, and forages.

With a focus on meeting turnaround times for analysis, you will also assist and support the senior analyst, ensure laboratories, stock rooms, and equipment are clean and maintained, and that all samples are stored correctly and clearly labeled.

Applicants should demonstrate experience working in a practical, hands-on role, preferably within an analytical laboratory environment. Experience with databases is necessary, and familiarity with LIMS would be advantageous. You should be methodical, detail-oriented, and attentive to your work.

You will be computer literate, able to work independently, and comfortable working as part of a small, flexible team. Flexibility, willingness to learn, and training are also important qualities.
