The Opportunity

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Solution Design Specialist. This role involves supporting sales growth and retention across EMEA through solution design activities, serving as a subject matter expert.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in automation, workflow, value analysis, competitor offerings, and informatics.
• Collect and analyze customer data, conduct workflow assessments, develop solution design reports with insights and recommendations, and communicate these to customers.
• Perform complex analyses such as valuation and total cost of ownership.
• Support the commercial team in formulating customer value propositions to drive sales and business retention, achieving EMEA sales targets.
• Utilize market, competitor, and product knowledge in strategic solution design activities.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and sales teams to provide input on automation, workflow, and informatics for product and process development.
• Work with marketing and product development to incorporate customer feedback for solutions enhancement.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.

Your Profile

• Degree in science or business.
• Preferred five years of diagnostics and/or laboratory experience.
• Experience with laboratory workflow and improvements.
• Strong automation, workflow, and IT hardware/software skills.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostic laboratories in EMEA.
• Experience in laboratory informatics.
• Understanding of how technology adds value in healthcare.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proficient in client-facing solutions demonstrations and presentations.
• Skilled in Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma principles and their application in laboratories and healthcare systems.
