Job summary

A leading biomedical testing laboratory is seeking an experienced HCPC Registered Laboratory Manager to oversee laboratory operations in York. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing laboratory staff, and maintaining high productivity. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a biomedical field, HCPC registration, and a minimum of five years in clinical laboratory operations. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial technical operations within the clinical laboratory testing industry.
• Experienced immunoassay scientist with working knowledge of diagnostic technologies.
• Experience of working within ISO13485.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all samples are tested within the desired test turnaround time.
• Manage laboratory throughput and turnaround times to meet KPIs.
• Work collaboratively with the QC & Technical Specialist.
