Job summary

Health Partners are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join the Matrix Diagnostics Confirmation team in Waltham Abbey, Essex. You will perform sample preparation, analytical testing, quality control, and maintain accurate laboratory records in the LIMS to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and related standards.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week with some weekend work, contributing to timely, reliable analytical results and ongoing improvements in a quality-focused laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a suitable science subject with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 17025, GLP) and good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Analytical Extraction Processes, Screening and Confirmation Analytical Technologies, and ISO17025 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyse confirmation samples efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain LIMS records and QC/ instrument management per Quality Management System.
• Carry out system checks, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Review results for customers and provide interpretation when required.
• Support audits and continuous improvement in the laboratory.
