Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Laboratory Analyst for a global pharmaceutical client based in Speke, near Liverpool. This is an initial 6 month contract with strong potential to go perm.

The role involves performing GMP-compliant chemical analyses, handling samples, calibrations, and maintaining analytical workbooks. Applicants should have a chemistry or biology degree and experience with HPLC. Salary rate £13 per hour PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analyses of materials, utilities, and stability samples.
• Handle samples: receipt, storage and disposal per procedures.
• Carry out equipment calibrations, maintenance and IQ/OQ as trained.
• Manage lab purchasing to keep standards and reagents stocked.
• Write, update and review analytical workbooks, methods and procedures.
• Assist QCL Scientist/Equipment group with investigations and troubleshooting.

PE Global is recruiting an Laboratory Analyst for our global pharmaceutical client based in Speke, near Liverpool. The role is an initial 6 month contract, with temp-to-perm a strong possibility.

Rate: £13.00 per hour PAYE

Objectives of this role

• To safely perform laboratory analyses of purchased and manufactured materials, utilities/EM and stability samples to cGMP, Regulatory and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Chemical analyses of purchased and manufactured materials, utilities/EM, stability samples and non-routine samples.
• Perform all aspects of sample handling, e.g. sample receipt, storage and disposal as per procedures.
• Conduct the equipment calibrations, maintenance and IQ/OQ that you are trained to perform.
• Follow lab purchasing procedures to ensure laboratory remains sufficiently stocked with standards/reagents and consumables.
• Write, update and review analytical workbooks, methods and procedures.
• Assist the QCL Scientist/Equipment group when required, by participating in analytical investigations, investigative testing and method/equipment fault finding and troubleshooting.

Required skills and qualifications for this Laboratory Analyst role:

• Experience in a GMP environment
