Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Lab Technician for a leading multi-national FMCG client in Reading. The role is an initial contract starting in November through 2026, with potential extension, paying £14.85 per hour PAYE.

Qualifications

• Degree should ideally be chemistry based, but other scientific disciplines will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and good written/verbal communication are essential.
• Ability to stay well organised, flexible and able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Under senior supervision, support the operation and goals of the laboratory.
• Provide high-quality customer service by organizing workload, ensuring data integrity, and timely results.
• Perform basic routine pharmacopoeial analysis using aseptic technique under supervision.
• Operate basic lab equipment as directed.
• Use software packages including the Laboratory’s LIMS system and Q-Pulse.
• Provide training in routine activities.
