Job summary

Talentmark Limited is recruiting for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a 12‑month contract. The role is fully site based in Reading and requires hands‑on experience with HPLC/LC‑MS and a strong GMP background.

Ideal candidates will hold a scientific qualification or equivalent experience, with OpenLAB knowledge and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous documentation and compliance with SOPs and COSHH.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant qualification in a scientific subject or have equivalent working experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HPLC and/or LC‑MS.
• Have a good understanding of GMP, preferably in the food industry.
• OpenLAB software experience would be highly beneficial.
• Well‑organised and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine analyses such as HPLC or LC‑MS.
• To perform analytical work following validation protocols.
• Perform Lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Assist with the documentation of SOPs for simple equipment and tests and the generation of Risk Assessments and COSHH.

Laboratory Technician Role:
