Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Leicester is seeking a Lab Technician to join a leading laboratory services business on a 6‑month contract.

You will prepare samples, book in tests, perform basic equipment checks, maintain records and support stock control while following ISO17025 and GLP processes. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Scientific degree.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable following procedures and working to quality standards.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of LIMS systems would be beneficial.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Contract - 6 Months

£17 per Hour

Omega are delighted to be supporting a leading laboratory services business in the recruitment of a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Leicester.

This is a hands‑on laboratory role focused on sample preparation, booking in samples and supporting the day‑to‑day running of the laboratory. It would suit someone with previous laboratory experience who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a structured environment.

Main Duties - Laboratory Technician
