Job summary

Jackie Wilsher Staff Service & Queensway Personnel is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for a 2-3 month FTC in Milton Keynes. The role is office-based with no remote working and starts ASAP.

You will support daily laboratory operations, maintain good lab practices, and help ensure a clean and safe working environment. Key duties include storing samples, disposing chemical waste safely, following safety protocols, and assisting with testing preparations and data entry.

Qualifications

• Previous lab experience (preferred).
• A-level or degree in sciences (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of basic lab equipment and safety procedures (training provided).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable handling chemicals.

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join a company based in Milton Keynes. Our client are the market leader within their industry. Please note, this role is a temporary FTC position for 2-3 months, however, could be extended or lead to permanent employment.

Location

Milton Keynes.

Working Hours

08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday, fully office based (NO remote working).
