I am currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Plymouth. Salary up to £28,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

The company are leaders within their field of expertise and are seen as the go to organisation within their specialist product area, not only in the UK, but on an international basis. They have multiple offices throughout the UK, as well as being strategically positioned throughout the world. They have gone from strength to strength over recent years and via organic growth as well as a range of acquisitions they have strengthened their client offering ensuring they stay at the forefront of the market.

To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Lab Technician on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Lab Technician, you will be responsible two types of testing: Physical testing which will include Viscosity, Tensile, and Set Time Tests and Analytical testing which will be Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography. You also actively participate in the investigation of quality issues identifying any non-conformances.

Ideal Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Lab Technician or similar
• Candidates who do not have any experience but have academic qualifications in a Science related field who have a desire to learn and develop as Lab Technician will still seriously be considered.
