Job summary

The University of Liverpool's Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology (ISMIB) seeks a proactive laboratory demonstrator to support undergraduate practical teaching across Biosciences and Pharmacy.

You will prepare and deliver practical classes, maintain facilities, assist students, and contribute to outreach activities and field courses. Regular on-campus attendance with occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in biochemical and molecular biology laboratory techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of undergraduate practical teaching across the School of Biosciences and School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Prepare and deliver practical classes, maintain laboratory facilities and equipment, and act as a demonstrator during teaching sessions.
• Contribute to outreach activities, summer schools, open days, and residential field courses in the UK and overseas.
