Job summary

The University of Liverpool’s Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology (ISMIB) seeks a Technician (Infrastructure Support) to maintain safe, effective and compliant laboratory facilities that support teaching and research activities.

You will work with academic, technical and professional services colleagues to keep laboratories operational, assist with stock and equipment, support practical teaching sessions and uphold health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Practical laboratory experience in an educational or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory health and safety practices.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate with diverse users.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, effective and compliant laboratory facilities that support teaching and research activities.
• Support stock management, equipment maintenance and routine health and safety tasks.
