Job Title: Lab Support Technician
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time
Fixed Term Contract Length: 12 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: GSK, Harmire Road, Barnard Castle, County Durham, England, DL12 8DT
We currently have an opening for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, working in our laboratories for a pharmaceutical client based in the Barnard Castle area. This role requires experience in a GxP environment and hands-on operator experience in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The successful candidate will support the client analyst across several key laboratory functions.
Education: HND level in a science-related subject, preferably chemistry.
Experience: Minimum of one year's demonstrable experience in a GxP environment.
Skills: Proficiency in HPLC and familiarity with the Empower data handling platform; experience with MERPs or SAP is advantageous.
Attributes: Enthusiastic, hardworking, confident, with strong communication skills, able to work under pressure, independently, and within a team. Attention to detail and methodical working within strict processes are essential.
