Wychem, an Ascensus Specialties Company, is seeking a QC Analyst to join our fast-paced analytical lab in Newmarket, Suffolk. You will perform routine and non-routine analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure strict quality standards are met.

The role requires a degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry and 1–2 years in a lab, with hands-on experience in GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and titrations. Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• A degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry is required.
• 1–2 years in a fast-paced analytical lab.
• Experience with GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and titrations.
• Familiarity with QC systems (ISO 9001:2015).
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses using GC, HPLC, KF, FTIR on materials and products.
• Maintain meticulous records of results and deviations.
• Collaborate with QC Lead, production, and R&D staff.
• Assist in method development, validation, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment troubleshooting.
