Job summary

SRG is recruiting for a QC Analyst on a temporary six-month contract based in West Yorkshire. The role involves testing production batches, in-process samples and raw materials, with full training provided. Recent chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply, or candidates with proven wet chemistry experience.

Responsibilities include testing, data entry in SAP, data integrity checks, verifying control limits, and supporting quality investigations. The position offers pro-rata salary of £24,500.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry (or similar) is required.
• Recent Chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently plan, organise and manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final testing on production batches.
• Enter test data in SAP, maintain inspection lots, and flag out-of-spec batches.
• Compare test data to control limits to spot out-of-trend results.
• Evaluate customer complaints with required investigative lab work.
• Process shelf life extension requests.
• Provide testing and quality support to evaluate plant issues.
• Conduct testing and support PT projects.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Maintain the lab to 5S standards.
