STEM Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Laboratory Admin Assistant for a temporary contract based in Edinburgh. The role supports the lab team with sample processing, documentation and logistics, ensuring accurate records and timely delivery to the testing pipeline.

The successful candidate will help maintain high housekeeping standards, assist with lab activities, and work collaboratively with supervisors to keep lab operations running smoothly.

• Process samples, label jars, complete paperwork and update spreadsheets.

At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Laboratory Admin Assistant based in Edinburgh.

This is a temporary contract

Duties:

• - Assist with specific Lab activities as directed by the Supervisor and Team Leader.
• - Operate all material handling equipment with due care and diligence at all times in strict compliance with Health & Safety work practices.
• - Handling Samples while maintaining the Lab to a high housekeeping standard at all times.
• - Processing samples, labelling sample jars, completing related paperwork, and updating spreadsheets.
• - Organising collection and delivery of samples using company van.
• - A team player who can contribute to the smooth operation of all lab functions.
