Job summary

Cleartech Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated L8 Water Hygiene Trainee Technician to join our expanding team. Based in Dundee with travel across Scotland, this full-time role offers hands-on training in water hygiene testing, cleaning and compliance work.

You will learn to follow health and safety procedures, complete electronic job sheets, and develop your technical knowledge under experienced technicians, progressing responsibilities as you gain competence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake temperature monitoring, flushing, descaling, cleaning and sampling as part of training and development, in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
• Complete routine tasks across assigned client sites under appropriate guidance and supervision
• Accurately complete electronic job sheets and compliance records
• Learn to identify and report potential non-compliances, failures or issues requiring further investigation or remedial works
• Liaise with the office team and experienced technicians to ensure works are completed effectively
• Follow company and site-specific health & safety procedures at all times
• Maintain professional standards when working on customer sites and interacting with clients
• Complete all required training and qualifications and actively develop your technical knowledge and competence
• Take increasing responsibility for your work as your skills and experience develop

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fire Damper & Remedial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in fire damper testing, installation, and remedial works to work across commercial, healthcare, and critical environments, including NHS facilities.

Key Responsibilities
