RI Cruden Ltd is seeking a qualified Water Technician to support commercial projects across Inverness and surrounding areas. The role suits a plumbing or water services professional looking to develop expertise in water hygiene, testing and maintenance.

You will perform preventative maintenance, Legionella monitoring, water sampling and TMV servicing while complying with ACoP L8 and safety standards. The position offers a company vehicle and opportunities for training.

Responsibilities

Job description

RI Cruden Ltd is looking for a qualified Water Technician to join its team, working on commercial projects across Inverness and the surrounding areas.
This position would suit a qualified plumber or water services professional who enjoys practical technical work and wants to develop their experience in water hygiene, testing and maintenance.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial water systems.
• Complete Legionella monitoring and maintenance tasks.
• Undertake remedial cleaning, water sampling and chemical testing.

Working Pattern

• Full time, 40 hours per week.
• Work across commercial sites in Inverness and surrounding areas.
• Overtime paid for hours worked beyond the 40 hour contract.

What We Are Looking For

• Applicants must be based in Brora or the Sutherland area.
• SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or an equivalent Water Regulations and Byelaws qualification.
• Good understanding of safe working practices.
• Ability to complete technical work accurately and maintain service records.
• Commitment to following water hygiene and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring or water treatment would be advantageous.
• An ACoP L8 Legionella qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
