Job summary

HSL Compliance is seeking a hands-on Remedial Technician to join our Edinburgh team. You’ll carry out remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance across various sites, with a company vehicle provided after training.

The role offers full training, career development opportunities, and industry-recognised qualifications. Overtime is paid, including travel time, and a company pension scheme is available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently once trained.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive and enjoys solving problems.
• DBS check may be required.
• Previous experience in water hygiene, plumbing or legionella control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance.

• Conduct water sampling, temperature checks, and system flushing.
• Clean and descale showerheads and other fixtures.

What You’ll Do

• Perform remedial repairs to ensure water system compliance

• Travel to different sites each day (company vehicle provided after training)

• Install, repair, and maintain pipework, tanks, and valves

• Conduct water sampling, temperature checks, and system flushing

What We’re Looking For

• A full UK driving licence (essential)

• Reliability and strong work ethic

• Confidence to work independently once trained

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Proactive and enjoys solving problems

• Previous experience in water hygiene, plumbing or legionella control (beneficial)

• Ability to follow processes and work safely

• A DBS check maybe required
