Job summary

Lostock High School in Stretford, Manchester, is seeking an outstanding L3 Teaching Assistant with interventions in numeracy for a fixed-term post until 31 August 2027. The role is Band 4 Scale 12-17 with an actual salary of £25,410 - £27,563 and 36.25 hours per week.

The successful candidate will join a strong SEND team, providing support to pupils with special educational needs across the curriculum and helping to raise numeracy standards. DBS checks and safeguarding are integral to the role.

• Provide numeracy interventions to pupils as part of the school’s SEND strategy.

Working Hours - 08.00 - 16.00 (36.25 hours per week)

You will join our highly regarded SEND team providing support for students with special educational needs throughout their curriculum experience. The SEND department is dynamic and forward thinking, and eager to see pupils succeed. We have a high proportion of children with additional needs and the need a determined ambassador for these young people and their families.
