London / Temporary / £12.89 - £14.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with private day nurseries in various parts of London. The settings work hard to ensure good quality care and many learning opportunities for the children within the nursery. They currently support 50 children, helping them feel safe and secure, while being attentive to their needs. The setting encourages children to develop a love of books and reading, supporting their communication and language development, as well as fostering independence.

The nurseries are looking to hire Level 3 Early Years Practitioners on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will have previous experience in an early years setting and a good understanding of how young children learn and develop. You will work with the team to provide children with new learning opportunities and support their growth. The role mainly involves working in the baby room, but flexibility to meet the nursery's needs is required.

Requirements for the successful Early Years Practitioner:

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• A paediatric first aid certificate
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting
• A positive and caring approach to supporting children's learning and development
