Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurses to work in welcoming nursery settings across North Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate early years professionals looking for an immediate start or a position from October 2026.

We are looking for nurturing, adaptable, and reliable individuals who are open to longer shifts, including 8:00am – 6:00pm, to support busy nursery environments and provide high-quality care and education for young children.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification.
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible attitude towards working patterns and shift times.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and care of children within an early years setting.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
• Support children’s personal, social, emotional and educational development.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, personal care and outdoor play.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.

The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the learning, development, and care of children within an early years setting
• Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

Requirements
