Job summary

David Allen IT Solutions is offering two IT Technician Apprenticeship places this year. As an apprentice you will support our clients and colleagues both remotely and on-site, using our Remote Monitoring and Management (RRM) technologies to keep IT systems efficient and minimize downtime while delivering friendly, proactive service.

Throughout the apprenticeship you will diagnose issues, install and configure systems, apply IT security measures and study towards your Information Communication

• Studying towards Information Communication Technician apprenticeship.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing issues, installing and configuring systems, and applying IT security measures.
• Ability to support clients remotely and on-site with strong customer service.

Aims and purpose of the job

As an apprentice with David Allen, your role will involve supporting our clients or collegues both remotely and on-site using our Remote Monitoring and Management (RRM) technologies. You will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems, striving to minimise downtime and maximise operational time for our clients. Delivering exceptional customer service will be at the heart of your work, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

About the Apprenticeship

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will play a key role in supporting our team and clients’ IT systems, both remotely and on-site, gaining real-world experience with a wide range of technologies. You will be responsible for completing your work to the highest standards, managing your time effectively to meet targets, and providing timely responses to client queries. As part of your learning journey, you will gain hands-on experience diagnosing issues, installing and configuring systems, and applying IT security measures. Alongside practical tasks, you will be studying towards your Information Communication Technician apprenticeship, and with our support, you’ll have the opportunity to become part of the RITTech register of IT professionals.
