Kubernetes Platform Engineer – Financial Markets, London (City of London)

We are seeking a highly experienced Kubernetes Engineer for a financial markets firm implementing a new Kubernetes platform. The role involves leading the implementation and integration of the platform, requiring deep expertise in containerized architecture and systems orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and integrate Kubernetes-based solutions in a high-performance computing environment.
• Work with containerized architectures and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system deployment.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience in high-performance computing environments.
• Extensive knowledge of containerized architectures and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Strong Linux engineering and on-premise experience.
• Experience in financial markets or scientific computing is preferred.
• Degree or higher qualification in a relevant technical field from a leading academic institution.

This is a role offering £600-700/day, based in London initially for six months.
