Job summary

Abbeyfield School seeks an ambitious Assistant Director of Learning for Science (KS4 Lead) to drive achievement, support colleagues, and develop an enrichment programme beyond the classroom.

You will work with the Director of Learning for Science to lead teaching, use data to identify priorities, and raise attainment while fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with a proven track record of excellent teaching and exam outcomes in Science.
• Experience using data to drive improvement and raise standards.
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the KS4 Science provision, driving achievement and improving outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Learning for Science to shape strategy and enrichment.
• Analyse, interpret and act on assessment data to prioritise interventions and raise attainment.
