Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a KS4 & KS5 Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to young people across the BCP area. You will help students prepare for GCSEs, Functional Skills, A-Levels and other post-16 qualifications, building confidence and improving attainment.

This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a measurable difference in learners' lives. An enhanced DBS and willingness to travel locally are desirable. Start date September; pay rate 25–30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting (tutoring, teaching, TA, mentoring)
• Experience supporting KS4 and/or KS5 learners
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more curriculum areas
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; travel locally across the BCP area

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition to KS4/KS5 learners across the BCP area
• Support students preparing for GCSEs, Functional Skills, A-Levels and other post-16 qualifications
• Tailor sessions to individual goals and build learner confidence and attainment
• Monitor progress and adapt plans based on learner needs
