Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a passionate Dance Teacher for an Outstanding secondary school in Chelmsford. The role is four days per week on a long-term basis, covering sickness, and focuses on GCSE Dance at KS4 alongside timetabled PE for KS3/KS4.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a Dance or PE specialism, have experience teaching Dance in a secondary setting, and be confident delivering GCSE Dance. Salary ranges from £190 to £220 per day, paid PAYE.

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant Dance or PE specialism (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching Dance in a secondary school.
• Experience delivering GCSE Dance at KS4.
• Confidence teaching PE across KS3/KS4.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Dance lessons at KS4.
• Teach PE across KS3/KS4 within the timetable.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.
