Broadstone Middle School is seeking a KS3 Teacher (Maths or English) to deliver engaging lessons that bring subjects to life and challenge pupils to think deeply. You will foster curiosity, build resilience and help every learner reach their potential.
The role emphasizes high-quality teaching, reflective practice, and a supportive learning environment for all students. Anticipated start January 2027, full-time, permanent contract.
MPR, Full time, Permanent
Anticipated start date – January 2027
At Broadstone Middle School, we know that great teaching is about more than a curriculum.
It is about curiosity. About having the confidence to try. About learning that getting something wrong is often the first step towards getting better. And about discovering that, with the right encouragement, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible.
We are looking for a KS3 Maths or English Teacher who can bring their subject to life, challenge pupils to think deeply and help them discover what they are capable of.
We want our pupils to leave lessons with more than more than strong academic knowledge.
We want them to become confident problem-solvers. We want them to ask questions, embrace challenges and develop the resilience to keep going when something feels difficult.
As our new Teacher, you will create engaging and ambitious learning experiences that inspire pupils to think, reason and succeed. You will build on what they already know, identify misconceptions, celebrate progress and help every learner achieve their potential.
You’ll have high expectations, a thoughtful and consistent approach to behaviour and a genuine belief that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
We are interested in what you bring to the classroom, not just what is written on your application form.
You may be an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge, or an early‑career teacher eager to develop your practice and make your mark.
What matters most is that you believe that good teaching can open doors, spark curiosity and help young people see what they are capable of achieving.
You will be reflective, adaptable and committed to continually developing your practice. Most importantly, you will care deeply about helping children learn, grow and thrive.
If you believe that great teaching can change not only how a young person feels about a subject, but how they feel about themselves, we would love to hear from you.
Join us and help every pupil discover that they are capable of more than they ever imagined. Come and help our pupils discover what they can do.
Closing date: 9th November 2026
Interview date: 20th November 2026
