Job summary

Premier Education Ltd. is recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Bolton to support a KS3 pupil with neurodiversity on a one-to-one basis.

The role emphasizes guiding the pupil to stay engaged, complete work, and build independence, with a calm, patient, and encouraging approach. The position is full-time, five days a week, starting immediately and continuing until July 2027, with the school providing lunch each day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or neurodiversity.
• Ability to work one-to-one with a KS3 pupil.
• Calm, patient and encouraging approach to learning.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Experience in secondary settings desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a KS3 pupil.
• Help pupil stay focused and engaged in lessons.
• Encourage completion of set work with prompts and guidance.
• Support independence rather than completing work for the pupil.
• Liaise with teaching and SEND staff for consistent support.
• Provide wider classroom support when appropriate.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
