Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking an Academic Intervention Coordinator for Literacy to support Key Stage 3 learners. You will deliver targeted literacy interventions, collaborate with teachers and develop strategies to raise attainment.

The role is permanent, starts November 2026, 35 hours per week, term-time only, within a nurturing school community proudly rated Good by Ofsted. Join a supportive Trust offering career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Key Stage 3 literacy and meeting targeted outcomes.
• Ability to plan and deliver targeted intervention strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and build rapport with students, staff and families.

• Work closely with teachers to deliver effective literacy and academic intervention programmes.
