Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale for a dedicated Tutor to support students in Maths, English and Science from November through to July. You will work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, providing targeted intervention and academic support in the lead-up to mock exams and GCSEs.

The role is full-time from November until July, delivering small group and one-to-one intervention sessions and helping students with exam preparation, revision

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school or tutoring environment.
• Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculum in Maths, English and/or Science.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions in Maths, English and Science.
• Support students with exam preparation, revision techniques and GCSE content.
• Help boost student confidence, engagement and attainment ahead of mocks and final exams.
