Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a well-known secondary school based in Kings Heath, who are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher for a long-term temporary role starting immediately. You will teach KS3 Humanities, deliver engaging lessons, and support student progress across the timetable.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, with strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school.
• Experience delivering lessons to KS3.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 Humanities as part of the timetable and across the day.
• Mark work and participate in parents' evenings.
