TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Mountain Ash to appoint a driven Humanities Teacher on a long-term temporary basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent staff member for the right candidate.

The role covers KS3 and KS4 (including GCSE prep) and requires QTS in Humanities, strong classroom management, and excellent communication. The position is paid daily at £172.00–£172.98 with a supportive team and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS with Humanities specialism.
• Experience teaching Humanities up to KS4.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Humanities to KS3/KS4 including GCSE preparation.
• Deliver lessons following the school's schemes of learning.
• Help students achieve excellent outcomes.
