Job summary

Trafford Park is seeking a KS3 English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Trafford area. The role runs from 2 October 2026 to July 2027, four days per week (Mon-Thu) in a temporary capacity.

You will plan and deliver English lessons to KS3, foster a positive learning environment, assess progress and manage behaviour in line with policies, while differentiating lessons for all learners.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE, B.Ed. or BA Hons with QTS).
• Be eligible to work in the UK or a UK resident.
• Have previous experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 3 English.
• Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered with Update Service or be willing to apply.
