Job summary

Chellaston Academy, part of Tapestry Learning Partnership, is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to ensure learning continuity when teachers are absent. You will supervise pre-planned lessons, support exams and visits, and help maintain a positive learning environment across Key Stages 3 and 4.

We value confident, organised individuals with strong communication and ICT skills, who can build good relationships with students and colleagues while upholding safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent.
• Support examinations, educational visits and departmental administration.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assist with student engagement and progression across Key Stages 3 and 4.
