Charles Darwin Primary School in Norwich invites applications for an enthusiastic KS2 teacher (Year 6) on a 0.4 full-time equivalent, fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. The post is suitable for experienced teachers or those early in their careers, with support for professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS qualification and eligibility for QTS
• Experience teaching in a primary school
• Strong communication with students, parents and community
• Ability to use varied teaching methods including ICT, literacy and numeracy
• Experience monitoring and reporting pupil progress
• Master’s Degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach students according to their educational needs and plan engaging lessons
• Assess, record, track and report on progress and attendance
• Use ICT, literacy and numeracy to deliver high-quality lessons
• Maintain discipline and promote good behaviour
• Plan curriculum development and contribute to school policies
