Job summary

Smile Education is currently recruiting a confident Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham (B8). You will deliver precise, well-planned lessons across Year 6, focusing on targeted interventions in small group or 1:1 settings while upholding high standards of teaching and behaviour.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has KS2 experience, and is flexible, well-organised, and capable of adapting across year groups.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• Able to teach across upper KS2 and adapt to groups.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned lessons across Year 6.
• Identify and support students needing intervention.
