Nields Academy in Huddersfield is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils with some SEN responsibilities. You will work under supervision to assist learning, support pupils, and help implement strategies for EHCP plans.

The role may involve intimate care in some cases, in a warm school environment. The position is a temporary contract through Kirklees Council, starting as soon as possible, 32.5 hours per week during term time, with a closing date in October.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant role for KS2 with some SEN responsibility.
• Support learning and implement EHCP provisions.
• May require intimate care support as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class and small groups.
• Assist with Maths and English for Year 5/6.
• Follow guidance from teachers and SEN staff to manage pupils and classroom.
