Job summary

Huttoft Primary and Nursery School is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisory Assistant. This temporary, part-time role (21 hours Teaching Assistant + 1.5 hours SMSA per week) runs for 39 weeks/year, with scale point details included in the salary section.

The Trust provides wellbeing support, pension access, and career development opportunities. The role involves supporting teachers, preparing materials, and supervising lunchtime activities within a caring school community

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a KS2 classroom.
• Assist with planning and delivery of literacy and numeracy initiatives.
• Familiar with EHCPs and other pupil plans.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils in learning activities under teacher guidance.
• Assist with planning and delivering literacy and numeracy activities.
• Prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
• Supervise pupils at midday and maintain dining area discipline.
