Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a partner primary school in Sunderland from September. You will support pupils in Key Stage 2, assisting the class teacher with engaging lessons and targeted interventions.

The ideal candidate will have KS2 experience, be confident with 1:1 or small group work, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Teaching Personnel provides a dedicated consultant, ongoing CPD, and flexible long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2
• Lead small group interventions to boost pupil progress
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils needing extra help
• Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to meet individual pupil needs
