Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Salford (M5). The full-time, long-term role involves supporting KS2 pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, in-class and through targeted interventions, one-to-one and small group work.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a TA or support worker, strong behaviour management, and a patient, nurturing approach. DBS Update Service is preferred; temp-to-perm potential offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar support role.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH pupils is desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils in the classroom and during targeted interventions.
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Deliver small group interventions to support learning and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and their families where appropriate.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
