Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary role in Newcastle. The post runs from November 2026 to July 2027, with hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

You will support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and have recent experience in a Primary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• QTS within the UK (UK)

Responsibilities

• Support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupils in a primary setting.
• Ensure safeguarding and child development best practices are followed.
