Carmountside Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support curious learners and work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons. You will provide individualised support and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The role is 32.5 hours per week on a temporary contract until 31 August 2027, with interviews on 6 November 2026. A Level 3 childcare qualification and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver lessons with diverse pupil needs in mind.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to learners needing extra help.
• Assist in monitoring pupil progress and behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
• Support pupils with their learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where every pupil feels valued.
