Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in North Tyneside this September. This full-time role involves supporting pupils in Years 3-6 and helping them prepare for the next stage of their education.

You will work alongside experienced teachers to deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths, assist with classroom preparation, and encourage independence and positive learning behaviours.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children is essential.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required.
• Positive, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2 classrooms.
• Deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths.
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
