Job Description:

A ‘good’ 2-form entry school in Barnet is seeking a full-time experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant. Starting May 2025 - July 2025. The school aims to provide high-quality education. The staff are highly supportive, and creativity is encouraged. They have an excellent staff well-being package and seek career development opportunities for all staff. Both staff and children are friendly and welcoming. There is adequate onsite parking and good transport links. Pay starts from £ per day.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Be able to deliver RWI phonics sessions (Ruth Miskin Phonics Method)
• Have experience in KS1
• May be required to work with SEN children
• Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
• Positively manage challenging behaviour
• Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals
• Supervise activities
• Work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child-centred education
• Work with children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
