Job summary

Academics is seeking an Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for September opportunities in Cannock and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term placements or longer-term commitments, supporting KS2 classes across multiple primary schools.

Applicants should have experience in a primary setting, hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Update Service), and be able to commute to Cannock. Competitive daily rates with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children within a primary school environment.
• Able to support whole-class learning while adapting activities for individual pupils.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support busy Upper Key Stage 2 classes across Cannock and surrounding areas.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare checks in line with policy.
• Assist planning and delivery of KS2 activities to meet learning objectives.
