Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistants to support busy KS1 classes across Penkridge and surrounding areas for September. Flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements, or long-term roles are available.

Applicants should have experience in a primary setting, be able to support whole-class learning, assist with planning and delivering engaging activities, and support SEND pupils as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school environment.
• Able to commute to Penkridge.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning and adapt activities to meet individual pupils' needs.
• Work with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Assist pupils with SEND as required.

We're Looking For Teaching Assistants Who...

• Have experience supporting children within a primary school environment.
• Can confidently support whole-class learning while adapting activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Are comfortable supporting children with SEND, including pupils with an EHCP, where required.
• Holds, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Are fully registered to work for Academics.
• Are able to commute to Penkridge.

Pay: £93 - £110 per day. Holiday pay is included within the daily rate.
