Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated L3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 at a Wirral junior school. The role is part-time and temporary, offering engaging daily duties in a friendly learning environment.

You will assist with class teaching, provide cover when required, and support pupils including those with SEN. A Level 3 qualification and enhanced DBS check are essential, with flexibility across learning contexts.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
• Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably KS2.
• Ability to complete an enhanced DBS check.
• Flexibility to provide class cover across learning contexts.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to pupils across Years 3–6, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Assisting with whole-class teaching and providing class cover when required.
• Supporting pupils in various learning environments, including after-school activities.
• Working with teachers to promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
