Job summary

St John the Baptist CE Primary School & Nursery in a village setting invites applications for Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant & After School Club Leader. The role covers KS2 support in Year 3/4, with lunchtime supervision and leading an after-school club.

You will work with a supportive team, focusing on early learning foundations, emotional wellbeing, and creating a safe, inclusive environment aligned with our Christian ethos. The post is fixed-term until August 2027, 41.25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• KS2 curriculum knowledge and SEND experience.
• Ability to support pupils with emotional wellbeing and independent learning.
• Strong collaborative approach with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Support in a mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class.
• Lead lunchtime supervision and supervision responsibilities.
• Lead an After School Club within the provisions of the role.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing in line with school policy.
